About Pegi's Child Care & Preschool
We approach each day as an adventure. A chance to learn, discover and build relationships. Every child is treated with respect, nurtured, protected, loved and given every opportunity to blossom!
Allowing children to experience learning in a multi-aged program offers them the opportunity for natural cognitive and social growth. Children involved in developmentally appropriate activities find an environment here where they can explore, learn and thrive. By providing a consistent and structured program, children will discover success and build self esteem.
Pegi and her staff maintain Pediatric, Child and Adult CPR and First Aid certifications.
Pegi attends several yearly child development workshops and classes to assure her program remains fresh and up-to-date. Her staff is experienced, trained and eager to follow Pegi's philosophy. We maintain a rare low child to staff ratio.
Constant supervised indoor and outdoor play, extra large play areas and a wide variety of age appropriate toys and equipment offers an environment that supports the development of both fine and gross motor skills. Our program invites stimulating exploration through daily academics, music, reading, song, dance, arts and crafts.
We stay busy and have lots of fun, get lots of hugs and take time to get silly!
We are proud to participate in the FDA National Nutrition Program serving balanced meals to all children. We provide breakfast, lunch and snack as part of our program.

A prior preschool teacher with LAUSD, Pegi is a business woman, child advocate and lecturer as well as a wife, mother and grandmother. As President of the Conejo Valley Day Care Association from 1997 - 2014; Pegi followed her dream and established the Ventura County Child Care Association in 2015 and is currently serving as President. Pegi also serves as a liaison with child affiliated service organizations throughout Ventura County and the State of California.
